A recent survey suggests that over 90% of urban and rural sites across England are blighted by litter, and over 77% of people believe the country’s litter problem has gotten worse in recent years.
A lack of pride in maintaining local community spaces was seen as a contributing factor, with majority Sunni, Shia, and Ahmadiyya Islam enclaves being the worst affected. Obviously, this comes as no surprise to British Movement because, as we know, if you import the Third World, you quickly become the Third World!
Taking this into account, two Northwest British Movement units in both Manchester and Merseyside set out on a crisp, sunny morning with their niffy nabbers and refuse sacks to clean-up their local woodlands and parks.
The recent survey also revealed how litter negatively impacts our mental health, sense of safety and economic prosperity. When shown an image of a heavily littered street, 66% of the respondents surveyed said that they wouldn’t feel safe walking there at night, 86% said they would feel embarrassed to live there, and almost one in seven felt that living in such an area would negatively affect their mental health.
As National Socialists we love our nation, and the simple act of litter-picking can make a huge difference to the environment and our folk.
