Asylum Hotel Falls Into Administration

thirty pieces of silver

A three-starBournemouth hotel has gone bust with debts totalling £5.2million. The ibis Styles Bournemouth is close to both the train station and Bournemouth Pier. The hotel describes itself as “taking inspiration from the local beach environment, so guests can enjoy sunny seaside vibes from the first moment. Settle into one of the hotels considerate social hubs and get work done in peace or simply relax.”

Yet the greedy owners of the hotel on Gervis Road, Bournemouth, thought they’d hit the jackpot when the hotel was chosen to house asylum seekers. Never a thought for the holidaymakers or businessmen who may like to partake in a little of the “sunny seaside vibes,” only the guaranteed cash that would flood in from the Home Office.

The hotel had an agreement with the Home Office that allowed for the exclusive use of its 65 bedrooms, the main building, and the restaurant. However, once that contract ended in June 2024, and the hotel reopened its doors to the public, trade slumped.

Unfortunately for the owners of this particular hotel (and all the others across the country who have also housed illegals), the public have long memories. Up and down the land, hotel chains have sacked staff, cancelled long-standing bookings and family celebrations in their hurry to snatch up the thirty pieces of silver offered by the Home Office.

Social media has been awash with bad reviews for the ibis Styles Bournemouth and the public has had little sympathy for the hotel. These are a few of the most recent posts on Facebook:

My son was sent on a course by his firm. He was there for three weeks. The course manager booked him into an hotel which had previously housed immigrants. He said the hotel was filthy, stank to high heaven and needed so much attention. He lasted one night and then told the course he was out of there. They moved him straight away. A word of warning, every company who allowed their hotel to be used by immigrants should be published so decent people can avoid them.

Absolutely great news. Serves them right. Long may it continue with the rest of the traitors. Should not have been put in hotels in the first place.

Unfortunately these greedy owners didn’t care about normal holidaymakers they wanted to line their pockets by taking in immigrants, you reap what you sow.

The government offered 3 times the yearly rate for hotels to house migrants for years… Now the contract ends, where do the migrants go? What state is the hotel left in and who knows if the hotels are open any more as they’ve been closed for years to the public. Once again the government have rammed their own country up the backside.

The Administrator revealed that the hotel owed £4.4million to the real estate investor Octopus, and the rest to companies that had supplied the hotel with other services. Karma strikes again.
