Getting Noticed In Manchester

Charlie Veitch is one of the new breed of citizen journalists who make a living filming everyday happenings in our towns and cities, posting the edited videos to social media and making a living from the monetised videos. Other ‘auditors’ have let slip that YouTube pays them £8 per 1000 views. Nice work if you can get it.

In his video ‘Fake Fan Gets Me Angry & Woman Suddenly Erupts a Torrent on Me’, filmed in Manchester city centre, Veitch comes across a ‘Stand Up For The 14 Words’ BM sticker. Although not a fan, he states that he knows what it means and that he believes that it will become more popular in the future.

On YouTube, Veitch has 531K subscribers and the video in question has had 97K views in only 3 days.
