The White Rose Bulletin Returns As An Online Publication.
Over the years, British Movement Yorkshire had a printed A4 bulletin titled ‘The White Rose’. The White Rose* carried reports on BM activities in Yorkshire as well as significant news stories that carried significance for BM readers of the bulletin.
The bulletin last appeared in a printed, hard copy format in 2016, and it has now been decided that The White Rose will appear as a feature on the British Movement Northern Region website, approximately every 4-6 weeks.
Of course, citizen journalists are needed to contribute articles, news reports and images (video if at all possible) in order to successfully offer a reflection of BM activity and opinion across all parts of the White Rose county: West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire and Hull, South Yorkshire and North Yorkshire.
Simple activity reports such as the two images below of BM stickers on the streets of Huddersfield as part of a propaganda action by an independent racial Nationalist who also distributes British Movement stickers.
Reports, images and video should be e-mailed to the BM Sunwheel Office at sunwheelteam@gmail.com or hard copy press cuttings, printed articles, etc. by post to the BM Sunwheel Office, PO Box 6, Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, WF16 0XF.
*Note for our German friends. The white rose is the county flag of Yorkshire, whereas the county of Lancashire has the red rose. In the 15th century, a civil war was fought between the House of Lancaster and the House of York, a conflict that became known as the ‘War of the Roses’. The white rose used to represent Yorkshire has no connection to the Weiße Rose student traitors who were active in Germany during the Second World War.
Also, according to Wikipedia, after the Battle of Minden in Prussia on 1 August 1759, Yorkshiremen of the 51st Regiment (predecessor of the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry) picked white roses from bushes near the battlefields and stuck them in their coats as a tribute to their fallen comrades. Yorkshire Day is held on this date each year.
