Polish President Andrzej Duda has asked why Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz have been having frequent phone calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the war in Ukraine.
In an hard-hitting interview with the German tabloid newspaper Bild, published last Friday (10th June), Duda critised the President of France and the left-wing German Chancellor.
“Did anyone speak to Adolf Hitler during World War II? Did anyone say that Adolf Hitler must save face? That we should proceed in a way that is not humiliating for Adolf Hitler? I have not heard about such voices,” said Duda.
He accused Putin of being responsible for the Russian army’s crimes in Ukraine. “He made the decision to send troops there. Those giving orders are under Vladimir Putin’s authority,” he stressed.
“Those talks do not lead to anything,” said Duda, adding that they legitimise Putin, who is responsible for the Russian army’s crimes in Ukraine.
Whatever your opinion of Putin, his multi-racial army, or his imperialist war, Duda’s statements are valid. During the ‘phoney war’ as the early months of the Second World War are known, Adolf Hitler made nearly 40 peace overtures to Churchill and the British Government, aimed at avoiding an all-out war with Britain.
War-monger Churchill refused to talk, or even acknowledge the fuhrers peace gestures, thus condeming over 400,000 British soldiers to death, and a further 277,000 to be seriously wounded on the battlefields of Europe.

Double speak idiosity. Hitler was evil and would have killed millions of British soldiers if he could have That you call Churchill a warmonger who caused 400,000 British deaths by refusing to talk with maniacal Hitler is an outrage! A pox on BM for propagating such outrage! A POX!
Churchill was a warmonger who caused the death of thousands of servicemen. In 1915, as First Lord of the Admiralty, he helped orchestrate the Dardanelles naval campaign and the Gallipoli landings.
The failure of the campaign in the Dardanelles and at Gallipoli resulted in heavy casualties – approximately 205,000 for the British Empire and 47,000 for the French (there were also 250,000 Turkish casualties) – and was a serious blow to the reputation of the Allied war command, including that of Churchill, who resigned (see history.com for the full report).
Before the Second World War, Churchill was pro-Hitler. After getting into serious debt he took £50,000 (about £3 million today) from a group called ‘The Forum’. The Forum was made up of wealthy capitalists, politicians and Jews who wanted Churchill to front their campaign for war against National Socialist Germany. Churchill repeatedly called for rearmament after he took their money.
In 1943 Churchill also refused to blame the Soviets for the Katyn Massacre, which saw the mass execution of Polish military officers by the Soviet Union. Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill hushed up evidence that the Soviet secret police had killed thousands of Polish men in the Katyn forest in 1940 for fear of alienating World War Two ally Josef Stalin.
Instead, for years they backed the Soviet Union’s version of events that Germany was behind the massacre at Katyn despite dozens of intelligence reports and witness accounts pointing to Soviet involvement.
Such a nice, principled man.
