Marlene Guest: The First Pakistani Rape Gang Whistleblower

Marlene Guest the first grooming gang whistleblower

The fallout from the Rape Gang scandal is casting its net ever wider.

The rape and torture of thousands of young White girls by ‘mainly Pakistani heritage men’ is once again in the headlines, with Elon Musk also wading into the fray, attacking Starmer and Jess Phillips, his Safeguarding Minister.

Musk tweeted that she should be jailed and called her a “rape genocide apologist.” He also criticised #TwoTierKeir for failing to prosecute the gangs. Interestingly, Maggie Oliver, a former police detective who uncovered police failings in investigating grooming gangs, has said Sir Keir Starmer is “perhaps as guilty as anyone” over the failure to bring about change.

Starmer is now accusing anyone who demands a national inquiry into how the mainly Pakistani abusers were allowed to get away with it for so long, of ‘jumping on a far-right bandwagon.’ Predictably he then went on to defend his role in the prosecution of certain gang members when he was head of the Crown Prosecution Service.

The media makes a lot of noise regarding ‘fake’ news, with the dreadful BBC having its own fact-checking service, BBC Verify. According to the Corporation, BBC Verify comprises about 60 journalists (all paid handsomely with your money), “who will form a highly specialised operation with a range of forensic investigative skills and open-source intelligence (Osint) capabilities at their fingertips.”

Yet all of the much-vaunted fact-checkers have ignored the one person who was the first to bring the scandal to light: Marlene Guest. Marlene had joined the Liberal Party and was a long-standing community campaigner in her native Rotherham. She had become a thorn in the side of the ruling Labour Party, rooting out the corruption that was endemic in that party locally. Her dogged determination led to two senior Labour councillors being jailed for fraud.

In 2000, Marlene was contacted by local families concerned about the sexual abuse of their young teenage daughters by gangs of second-generation British Pakistani men. In response, she initiated a comprehensive investigation into the issue, uncovering its prevalence and the alarming disregard shown by politicians, police, media, and social services in her community.

By 2004, the British National Party was involved in a campaign to alert the public to the little-know grooming gang problem. After hearing about the campaign, Marlene left the Liberals and joined the BNP. Freed from the shackles of a political party firmly entrenched in building the multicultural experiment, Marlene was able to aim her fire at the rape gang enablers and at the corruption in the Labour Party.

Denis MacShane, Labour Member of Parliament for Rotherham from 1994 (and a regular panellist on GB News today), was targeted by Marlene, and in 2012, after a three-year campaign, it was found that he had submitted 19 false invoices “plainly intended to deceive” the parliamentary expenses authority. The allegations, which had been made by Marlene and the British National Party, had been investigated for 20 months by the Metropolitan Police.

In November 2013, he pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to false accounting by submitting false receipts for £12,900. On 23 December, he was sentenced to six months in prison. He served four months of his sentence in HM Prison Belmarsh and HM Prison Brixton, and the rest by wearing an electronic tag. On the issue of Child Sexual Exploitation, MacShane said later that no one had come to him with child abuse allegations during that period, but that he should have been more involved in the issue.

The emergence of the Muslim grooming scandal revealed significant shortcomings in accountability, particularly highlighted by the response of Shaun Wright, the Labour Party’s Police and Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire, who claimed ignorance of the situation. However, it was the compelling documented evidence provided by Marlene that ultimately exposed his dishonesty, leading him to resign in disgrace.

Marlene Guest had gone full circle. Born into a working-class mining family, she joined the Liberals, working tirelessly on local issues, but after joining the BNP she became a fully committed ethno-Nationalist. Her local branch managed to get three BNP councillors elected and to come a close second in many others, including her own seat.

“I’ve read a thing called Did Six Million Jews Really Die?… If they’d have kept the crematorium going in this little camp for 24/7 for 50 years, they still couldn’t have burnt that amount of bodies.”

Marlene, a mother of five, had worked most of her life, and an exposure to asbestos during her time working in a factory ultimately led to her prolonged struggle with lung cancer, which eventually led to her death.

Marlene died on December 23, 2014 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

When news of her passing became public, the ex-Deputy Leader of Rotherham Council, Jahangir Akhtar, wrote an offensive message on his Facebook page about Marlene, several days after her death. Sickeningly he wrote, “Heard Marlene Guest has died. Will only say two words “Ding Dong”.

Ding Dong was a sick reference to the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, which was sung to celebrate the death of the witch. The far left also sang the same song when Maggie Thatcher died.

Reams of newspaper headlines have been produced praising the grooming gang whistleblowers, people like Ann Cryer, Maggie Oliver, Nazir Afzal, and even Tommy Robinson! But none of them had even heard about the grooming gangs when Marlene was a lone voice campaigning for the White children being raped, tortured and passed around amongst second-generation immigrants.

The establishment has tried to erase the memory of Marlene Guest, replacing her with a number of ‘respectable’ whistleblowers.

Yet all of the fact checkers have ignored the one person who was the first to bring the scandal to light: Marlene Guest in Rotherham. The following list includes the approximate date they became aware of the problem:

Ann Cryer – 2003

Cryer had been the Labour MP for Keighley for six years when she first heard about what has become known as child sexual exploitation in 2003 from a group of concerned mothers who said their 12 and 13-year-old daughters were being sexually exploited by a group of older Asian men and the police and social services were refusing to act.

Admitting she “hadn’t a clue” about the issue despite being closely involved with her area’s Asian community on the issue of forced marriage, she was initially “wary of engaging with the mothers because of concerns they may be connected with the British National Party.”

“At the time, the BNP were becoming very active in the Keighley area and I said to my assistant, ‘just check none of these mothers have any connections to the BNP.’ You would be amazed the stuff people get up to in politics. I thought if they have any connection with the BNP it puts into question what they tell me.”

Tommy Robinson – 2009?

Claims he was a member of the British National Party (BNP), from 2004 to 2005. In January 2014, Robinson was jailed (again) – this time for 18 months – for his part in a complicated mortgage fraud. In 2015, in a speech to the Oxford Union, his new target became clear. He focused on sexual grooming gangs from predominantly Asian backgrounds. He accused the police of facilitating “the rape of children” for 20 years because they were afraid of being called racist.

Maggie Oliver – 2012

A former Detective Constable with the Greater Manchester Police. She claims that the convictions that were made in the Rochdale child sex abuse ring of 9 men in early 2012 barely scratched the surface of what she describes as a highly organised crime group of hundreds of perpetrators against countless young victims. She remained with the force until her resignation in March 2013 in response to the handling of the Rochdale child sex abuse ring.

Simon Danczuk – 2012

One of the most ridiculous characters to try and claim kudos for exposing the rape gangs is the new Reform UK convert, Simon Danczuk. The former Labour MP for Rochdale claims he was raising the issue in 2012, twelve years after Marlene raised the issue!

Danczuk played a significant role in probing historical claims of child abuse involving politicians, contributing to the revelation of the sexual abuse perpetrated by former Rochdale MP Cyril Smith, in collaboration with researcher and activist Matthew Baker.

Danczuk is a particularly unsavoury character, having a penchant for much younger women. In fact his latest wife is Claudine Uwamahoro, a Rwandan beauty therapist whom he married in 2023. The happy couple have an age gap of almost 30 years. Danczuk was suspended from the Labour Party in December 2015 for exchanging sexually explicit messages with a then-17-year-old girl who had reached out to Danczuk’s office seeking a career in politics. He resigned from the Labour Party in May 2017.
