West Yorkshire Police Race Strategy

‘Woke’ in Practice and anti-White in reality

It will come as no surprise to discover that regular readers of British Movement Northern Region web site are already aware of the less than surprising revelations last week regarding the ‘politically correct’ recruitment strategy of West Yorkshire Police. For the next few months it seems that recruitment into West Yorkshire Police will not be open to White British applicants.

The situation is so outrageous that some mainstream media outlets have taken a serious look at what is going on here and some investigative journalists have been assisted by angry ‘whistle-blowers’ inside West Yorkshire Police, including reports provided by disgruntled insiders within West Yorkshire Police recruitment and training departments.

Not only the usual newspaper reports from the conservative inclined Daily Mail or Daily Telegraph, but also from Talk TV and GB News have criticised this anti-white policy.

The justification for this situation is that census data shows that 23% of the population of the West Yorkshire region is non-white, yet only 9% of the current West Yorkshire Police is non-white. Therefore West Yorkshire Police strategists want the force to reflect that population dynamic.

British Policing nationally has become increasingly politically motivated towards the progressive liberal ‘woke’ mindset, and wants modern policing to be ‘culturally sensitive’ in its dealings with ethnic and non-white religious minorities. However, the previous recruitment campaigns were failing to draw in sufficient numbers of non-whites to fulfil the desired numbers, so recruitment policies have changed.

Now West Yorkshire Police claim to be operating a policy of ‘Positive Action’ which they claim is lawful and permitted under the Equality Act. However, ‘whistleblowers’ within West Yorkshire Police recruitment and training services have reported on the internal system of Gold, Silver and Bronze labelling of recruitment applicants.

Top of the list – Gold level applicants were from African or Far-Eastern ethnic backgrounds.
Silver level were South Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi or Sri Lankan) or Afro-Caribbean.
Bronze level were White applicants – and this too was structured, placing Eastern Europeans above Irish and the White British were listed as the bottom category of ‘Bronze’ rated applicants.

One insider complained to journalists that non-white recruits were being carefully coached through the recruitment application process and were then interviewed for the final selection interviews by the same individuals who had coached them earlier. Not surprisingly these applicants from ethnic minority groups were not only being successful as applicants, but the whistleblower reported seeing the coaching/interviewers actually congratulating these ‘successful’ applicants with literal physical back-slapping of the applicants taking place.

It was a situation where the rules were distorted and manipulated to ensure that the desired outcomes were achieved. Unfortunately potentially suitable White British applicants received no such support and the system was adjusted so that White applicants will not be accepted until further notice.

Of course, when faced by media requests for clarification on whether the WY Police were practising racial discrimination in their recruitment process, West Yorkshire Police had carefully crafted responses, denying racial discrimination against white applicants, denying a policy of ‘positive discrimination’ (which would be illegal under British law), but claimed a policy of “Positive Action” which is permitted, to reset the ethnic background imbalance in the ethnic makeup of the officers employed in West Yorkshire.

Of course claiming a “Positive Action” policy was a careful statement crafted, no doubt, by the West Yorkshire Police legal service lawyers to provide a loophole in case of legal action complaints by White British applicants who failed to pass the recruitment process yet met all the usual criteria.

This scandalous situation reflects how the authorities are determined to impose a cultural Marxist agenda on all aspects of British society. This is how multiculturalism forces British attitudes to change to suit incoming minorities but integration does not mean that ethnic or ‘faith minorities’ should adapt their customs and lifestyles to reflect British values, but Britain and the indigenous British must adapt to satisfy the minority demands and the political ambitions of the ‘woke’ cultural Marxists and liberal progressives.

This discrimination or ‘positive Action’ policy of West Yorkshire Police is entirely in keeping with the highly politicised directives of the College of Policing, which has frequently faced criticism for its progressive liberal outlook and is regarded as the driving force behind ‘two-tier policing’.
